bet365 turns to Avanti for AI-powered live dealers

bet365 has agreed a deal with Avanti Studios that will bring the supplier's AI-dealer live casino titles to the operator across several markets, with Spain first in line.

The tie-up is set to widen bet365's local live offering, which is currently restricted to roulette, by adding Avanti's blackjack games along with a wider range of tables fronted by what the studio describes as "digital dealer clones."

"We're very excited to be partnering with one of the industry's leading operators in bet365. The deal will allow them to host new games like blackjack in Spain."

— Jonas Delin, Co-founder, Avanti Studios

Clement Le Scanff, bet365's head of gaming for commercial and operations, said the operator was pleased to work with Avanti to "bring innovative, differentiated content to Spain," describing the move as a way to enhance its offering and introduce new entertainment experiences for players.

Avanti Studios is still a young business. The Stockholm-based supplier was founded by LeoVegas co-founder Gustaf Hagman and Jonas Delin, who previously founded Authentic Gaming, a company Genting acquired for €15 million in 2019, and it came out of stealth mode at ICE in January 2026. Rather than staffing physical studios, Avanti motion-captures experienced land-based croupiers and renders them as 3D-animated digital dealers streamed in real time over a cloud protocol built on Unreal Engine, allowing operators to change a dealer's look, language and table limits.

That model carries particular weight in Spain because Avanti's games are driven by a random number generator, which means they can be offered in markets where conventional camera-streamed live casino is restricted; historically only live roulette had been available locally. Its first Spanish partner, Luckia.es, went live in April 2026, with Luckia's head of product describing it as the operator's first new live casino content in more than a decade. The bet365 agreement also follows a March distribution deal with Light & Wonder covering EMEA and Canada, and a €10 million seed round that closed on 19 May with Genting Casinos UK returning as an investor.

Genius Sports lines up Polymarket and Kalshi

Genius Sports has signed partnerships with prediction-market platforms Polymarket and Kalshi, following the pair's respective deals with the Argentinian FA and Liga MX.

bet365 and Genius Sports strike strategic partnership deals

As the Argentinian FA's official data and streaming partner, the New York-listed company will supply official sports data to Kalshi, which became an FA partner ahead of the World Cup. Polymarket, meanwhile, has agreed to become a regional sponsor of Liga MX, where Genius Sports already serves as the Mexican league's official data, streaming and integrity partner and will likewise feed it sports data.

"Working alongside Liga MX and Polymarket reflects the growing importance of reliable, verified official data both in creating a premium product and supporting the integrity of sports."

— Mark Locke, CEO, Genius Sports

Both deals build on long-running relationships: Genius Sports has counted the Argentine Football Association and Liga MX among its football partners since at least 2021. They also arrive shortly after the company completed its purchase of Legend, a digital sports and gaming media network, on 1 May 2026 in a transaction valued at up to $1.2 billion, expanding its media business beyond its core role supplying sportsbooks.

Octoplay deepens Entain ties via Crystalbet

Octoplay has launched with Entain-owned Crystalbet in Georgia, its second integration in the market in a matter of weeks.

The studio said the go-live is part of a wider expansion that now stretches across 17 jurisdictions. CEO Ralitsa Georgieva called the Georgian entry "an important step in our European roadmap," while Crystalbet CEO Jaba Peikrishvili described Octoplay as "one of the fastest-growing studios in the industry," noting its content had performed strongly across Entain's markets.

Entain has become one of the studio's most important customers. The relationship has already carried Octoplay's games into the UK, Canada and, through BetMGM, the United States, and it extends beyond distribution: the pair built Jackpot Blitz, a custom jackpot engine for Entain brands, and Octoplay delivered four bespoke game projects in 2025, including one for Coral, with an Elvis Presley-themed title for BetMGM lined up for 2026. Its licensed markets now include the UK, Malta, Sweden, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Brazil, New Jersey, Michigan and Ontario, a footprint built in less than three years since the studio went live.

St8 brings RubyPlay to Ontario

Aggregator St8 has partnered with RubyPlay to strengthen its Ontario line-up, opening up the supplier's portfolio to operators in the Canadian province.

The agreement adds another batch of slots to St8's aggregation offer in Canada as it pushes for momentum in North America. Business development manager David Fall called the partnership "an exciting addition" to the firm's growing regional content, and RubyPlay chief commercial officer Dima Reiderman said teaming up with St8 was "a natural step" in its North American expansion.

Ontario operators taking the content through St8 will be able to access titles from across RubyPlay's studio network, which includes RubyPlay Studio, Koala Games, Mad Hat Games and Firerose, with releases from Xslots expected to follow. Games singled out in the announcement include J Mania Lucky Pyggs, Mad Hit Mr. Coin and Diamond Explosion 7s SE.

SOFTSWISS launches real-time player segmentation

SOFTSWISS has beefed up the segmentation features in its casino platform, letting operators build player groups in real time based on deposit patterns, loyalty data and payment methods.

The supplier said the tool works across bonus campaigns, tournaments, referral systems, payment scenarios and automation workflows. Suren Vardanyan, head of sales for the SOFTSWISS casino platform, said real-time segmentation was "the difference between generic campaigns and personalised experiences," explaining that the segmentor builds dynamic groups that adjust automatically to behaviour so operators can tailor messaging and offers for thousands of players at once.

Wazdan goes live with FanDuel in Pennsylvania

Wazdan has grown its North American presence by launching with FanDuel Casino in Pennsylvania through Light & Wonder's aggregation platform.

The rollout builds on earlier FanDuel launches in Ontario and Michigan, giving players in the Keystone State first access to titles including 12 Bells and Hot Slot: 777 Crown. Magdalena Wojdyla, Wazdan's head of account management, said the launch marked "another significant step" in strengthening the studio's North American footprint, citing FanDuel's strong brand, broad reach and understanding of its player base as an excellent strategic fit.

The FanDuel relationship was first announced in March 2026, when Wazdan content went live simultaneously in Ontario, led by Mighty Fish: Blue Marlin and 36 Coins, and in Michigan, where 12 Bells and Hot Slot: 777 Crown were the opening titles, again through Light & Wonder's aggregation platform. At that point Wazdan already had deployments in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as an earlier entry into West Virginia. Founded in 2010 and based in Malta, the studio is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission and releases 40 or more new games a year.
